Bancs-fanals
The lantern benches are located along Barcelona's Passeig de Gràcia. Built in 1906, by the then municipal architect Pere Falqués i Urpí (1850-1916), they are one of his best-known works, although they have sometimes been attributed to the also modernist architect Antoni Gaudí. It is about thirty-two benches built with the classic "trencadís" of Catalan modernism and attached to the benches are the lanterns, constituting a single piece, the lanterns are wrought iron with the characteristic coup de fouet , made in the casting workshop of Manuel Ballarín.
