The Huayllay Stone Forest is located in the Huayllay district, Pasco province and department, Peru has an extent of 6000 ha.[1] It has been protected since 1974 by the establishment of the Huayllay National Sanctuary. It constitutes an Andean natural wonder, at 4,310 meters above sea level.
It is a tourist attraction because it brings together more than 4,000 rock formations that resemble gigantic human profiles, such as the walker or thinker, and animals, such as the turtle, the alpaca, the condor, the elephant, the zebra, the penguins, the dog, the snail, among others.
