Khilingrong Mosque
Khilingrong Mosque (Urdu: خلنگرونگ مسجد) and (Balti: གམིལིནངརལང ྅འས་ིད) is a mosque located in the town of Shigar in the Baltistan region of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Located at an altitude of 2,300 m (7,500 ft) above sea level, the mosque is one of the oldest in the region, having been built at the beginning of the 17th century. The mosque is built in traditional Balti architecture which is a blend of Tibetan and Mughal Islamic style of architecture.
