Tirol (; historikisht Tiroli; gjermanisht austriak: Tirol [tiˈʁoːl] (dëgjo); italisht: Tirolo) është një rajon historik në Alpe - në Italinë Veriore dhe Austrinë perëndimore . Zona ishte historikisht thelbi i Qarkut të Tirolit, pjesë e Perandorisë së Shenjtë Romake, Perandorisë Austriake dhe Austro-Hungarisë, që nga formimi i saj në shekullin e 12-të deri në vitin 1919. Në 1919, pas Luftës së Parë Botërore dhe shpërbërjes së Austro-Hungarisë , u nda në dy pjesë moderne administrative përmes Traktatit të Saint-Germain-en-Laye:
